Access privacy
This notice describes the email access service for Mirid downloads. Mirid 1.0.13 for Windows is available after email confirmation.
What your email is for
Your email address is used to send sign-in links, record verified access and prevent misuse of the service. Signing up does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
What the service stores
The service records your email address, verification and access status, relevant timestamps, and a record that you acknowledged this notice. Sign-in tokens and session tokens are stored as cryptographic hashes, rather than as usable sign-in links.
You can optionally choose a broad intended use: personal use, research, work or business, or exploring. This helps plan Mirid's development and does not affect automatic approval. Leaving it blank is fine.
A necessary session cookie keeps you signed in. Short-lived abuse controls use keyed hashes of email addresses and network addresses to limit repeated requests. Cloudflare also processes network information to deliver and protect the service.
Where data goes
Cloudflare runs the access service, database and verification email delivery. Approved downloads may be retrieved from Hugging Face through Mirid's download service. Your signup email is not used to create a Hugging Face account.
Your local work
The access service does not receive your local chats, memories, character cards or model prompts. If you choose a hosted AI provider inside Mirid, that provider's separate terms and data handling apply.
Retention and your choices
Expired verification links, sessions and rate-limit records are removed by the service's scheduled cleanup. Your account record is retained while you use the access service, or until you request deletion, subject to any records that must be retained for a specific legal obligation.
To ask about your information, correct your email address or request account deletion, contact [email protected].
